About Us

Dr. Fernando Mendez

Dr. Mendez is a board certified Child and Adolescent psychiatrist. He completed his fellowship (sub-specialty) training at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. Mendez is also a board certified general psychiatrist. He trained and practiced in NYC where he received exposure to the most diverse community in the world. He developed experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric illness including treatment resistance psychosis and depression.
Dr. Mendez’s clinical interest are early childhood attachment/ trauma, ADHD and Autism Spectrum disorders. He believes that education and communication is the key to reducing stigma around mental health.
