An ADHD evaluation looks at attention, activity level, impulsivity, and how concerns affect daily life. Your history and the settings in which symptoms occur help guide the assessment.

Looking beyond one symptom

The evaluation may include interviews, rating scales, a review of previous records, and additional testing when indicated. We consider developmental history and other concerns that can overlap with difficulties in attention.

Preparing for your visit

Bring a medication list, prior evaluations, and relevant school or work information. We review the findings together and discuss an individual treatment plan and next steps.
