A second opinion can help when a diagnosis remains unclear, symptoms overlap, or previous treatment has not answered your concerns. We review the clinical picture and the questions you want addressed.

A review of your history

The evaluation considers previous diagnoses, treatment trials, testing, and medical and developmental history. Additional assessment may be recommended when it could help clarify the picture.

Preparing for your visit

Bring previous evaluations, relevant records, and a list of current and past medications. We discuss our findings and recommendations with you. With your permission, coordination with your existing care team may be part of the next steps.
